Great tutorial but where do I find the splatter brushes? The tutorial shows these under "tool presets" and refers to "natural media brushes" - I don't see either of these (under tool presets or brush presets). Julieanne says "you can just use the different presets here to create..." but I don't see any presets. Also, my "Brush" panel appears to be different from the one shown. CS 12.0.4.

First of all thanks, Julieanne, for the detailed information that you provide here. And secondly, just to tell you that your tutorials are nice because you are nice! I love the way you convey things, with such warmth and spontaneity. It's so cool to see somebody enjoying what she's doing... wonderful!

Great video, for brushes. I was finding making brushes very interesting. Took the tutorial on how to make my own. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 but not with the Plus. I am learning by having some great instructions from a mentor and tutorials where ever I come across them.
over 1 year ago REPORT ABUSEMore and more am getting to be inspirded with making my own background settings, but still handicapped with clipping out and findng images to re-render for my still art. I love how similar Gimp is tho to the Photoshop tools you use with PS Versions. Brushes in Gimp where hard to load and find. That is how I am now an owner for the Ellements Version of Photoshop for ease and quality comparable to my skill levels. I am 56 and happy to be learning something new.
Thank you!

Is this CS5 you are using because mine across the top right where you can pick Painting or Photography does not have some of the titles you have. It took me years to master the mouse, and i thought it would be easy with a Tablet but i can`t seem to get the Synchronicity right, and gave up. I am 63 yrs old and there were a couple of things i learnt but this 12minute video would take me about a day to fully get the picture(sorry about the pun) I am self teaching myself. I will replay this video quite a few times because there were some interesting points i could see that were useful.
